Product Description

Our Walk-On glass rooflights are designed for external use and available either with clear glass or with an optional anti-slip finish, each unit boasts a 33mm toughened laminated outer pane.

We are currently offering 11 standard sizes via our online shop, lead times are 3-4 weeks from order.

  • Strength - 33mm Toughened Laminated Outer pane as Standard
  • Safety – 6mm Toughened Inner Pane

Simple Installation

Our Walk-On rooflight range has been designed with simple installation in mind, each unit is supplied pre-glazed ready for installation.

Due to the high specification of the glass considerations must be made on how to safely lift your rooflight, however once in place it’s as simple as putting a lid on a box !!!

How do the Sizes Work?

Our Walk-On Rooflights measurements are taken from outside edge of your kerb / upstand. The structural opening (hole in the roof) measurement would be 200m smaller.

Glass Specification

Our Walk-On rooflights are supplied with double glazed super low ’e’ coated units with Argon filled cavities.

Our standard Walk-On glass specification is:

  • 59mm double glazed unit.
  • 33mm Toughened Laminated outer pane,
  • 20mm argon filled cavity
  • 6mm clear toughened super Low E inner pane.

Testing

Designed to the current British and European Standards (BS EN 1991-1-1), they have the capacity to withstand a uniformly distributed load of 1.5kN/m2, or a concentrated load of 2.0kN.
